I’m sure you will agree after viewing the photos and video in this section that this is a dreadful condition for our Ekachakra Temple to be in. We stayed at our Ekachakra Temple and on the first night we were woken at 2:36 a.m. to the sound of running water. Later that morning we could see 2 pipes were leaking water. these pipesarein the picture which shows 3 downpipes on the wall. Two days later on another section of the building (the photo which shows 2 pipes together) another pipe burst. We thought “Oh my God! What next?!” the repairs cost Rs 39,000/£351/$455.50/€420. Money that was going to be spent on other things.
It is very difficult to estimate the cost of repairs to this part of the building. You can’t see how bad the damage really is until scaffolding is erected and the wall inspected. Including re-plastering, carpentry, plumbing and painting. We estimate approxiamately Rs 18 to 20 lakh (1 lakh = Rs 1000,000).
